- Me (I'm important too!)
Home games, forget it. I'll be gone all day. We start tailgating at 9am, the game's at 1pm, I get home around 8pm, and I'm usually exhausted by then. If I do get online, I'll probably just be ooc chatty.
Away games are hit or miss. Depending on the game and how I feel that day I might watch alone at home, so I'll be around but distracted. If I have people over, or if I go somewhere, then obviously I won't be around at all.
I'm going through one of these periods of burnout. Some of it is game-related, I'm letting things with one character get to me, which is my own fault. Some of it is just me being tired - many of you know I sacrifice sleep on a regular basis. The rest is my arm. I can't write a lot at a time, so my narratives are getting shorter and shorter, my blogs are non-existent.
I still think it's tendonitis, but I'm still looking for other answers. I ice it twice a night, once as soon as I get home from work, and once as I go to bed. My pinky randomly feels tingly. Once again, exact opposite of carpal tunnel, where everything but your pinky gets tingly. When I'm resting, the ache in the most of the arm is gone, now I just get this feeling of muscle exhaustion from about my wrist to half way to my elbow, as if I've just copied the dictionary by hand all day. It isn't swollen anymore. Dunno. Ice pack and ibuprofen, man.
Love life? I'm working on the FedEx guy that delivers to work. I left work early today and ran into him as I was getting food, and then again about fifteen minutes later on my way home. I get big smiles from him when I come to the door, and he did make a point to learn my name after just a few days - which he could have only done by looking at my signature. So, I don't know whether that's just him giving good customer service, and learning the name of the person who always answers the door, or him learning it because he liked the way the person who answers the door looks. We make small talk now, gonna work my way up to more.
