From my roleplay expectations page:
"from mid-March to the end of May I get swamped with work, and cannot promise regular response times or lengthy replies. Following that, July and August are absolute hell between work"
The new addition to our team last summer was unceremoniously ousted at the end of the year, so now we have yet antoher new team member, one who is completely green at the task and asks for confirmation to do every little thing, no matter how inconsequential it is. For example, how to address and sign off on an email that was being sent to staff members that aren't all teachers ("they don't all have classrooms so is it still okay if I say looking forward to seeing your classrooms?"). Like.... if you can't figure out how to phrase this on your own... why not just say looking forward to seeing you? Also, why did you need to ask me this?
Then on top of that, the rest of the team, the ones that were new last year, the expansion, they're getting things a little better organized and not driving me crazy, however, between them and also our boss, they have to be better about coordinating things that cost money. Because they keep contracting with people without telling me, and then I get an invoice that I didn't know about. But then they get mad when they want to order something and I tell them there's no money. Maybe if you had warned me about that $18k consultant...
Anyway... work is killing me this season. Just about 100 days till I'm off for a week... *sigh*
