But yeah, that's my day. Because the calls are so...brain-numbingly repetitive and basic, I don't really have to pay attention, and that's why I actually get to spend time on FB or in Popmundo. The downside is that I usually just flip between the characters, read my messages and plot my responses. If I really feel motivated, I actually respond, but they're usually short and sweet because I lose patience with my phone. Popmundo really needs an app. Sometimes it'll be a longer response, but then I end up tapping the back button to close the keyboard and accidentally go back a page and lose the whole thing, then get pissed and end up retyping a short version.
This would be the best time to do all the interacting, honestly, but again... Phone. Although, you know what... maybe I'll make that my new mission. Interactions at work, all PM responses in the evening. Final answer.
I also remembered that I was supposed to give you our margarita recipe. It still doesn't have a name. I'm currently leaning toward Pink Elephant, since "seeing pink elephants" means hallucinating because you're wasted. So here it is.
Well, here it 'almost' is. This is the recipe we used this New Year's. The vodka and rum flavors are interchangeable and the combinations are endless, though I recommend staying along the berry and fruity flavors. Even though... I wonder how cake or whipped cream would work... Additionally, the vodka and rum are why I say the margarita is more like a Long Island.
- 3 oz tequila
- 1 oz Presidente brandy
- 1 oz Chambord
- 1 oz watermelon vodka
- 1 oz passionfruit vodka
- 1 oz torched cherry rum
- Margarita mix
- Splash of grenadine for color
Shake vigorously
Rim the glass with salt
You should be able to make at least 4 drinks from this recipe. Really, it doesn't matter what flavors you use. In the past we've used blood orange, cherry, dragonfruit, citrus, and raspberry vodkas. Neither one of us drinks rum, so we've always used the torched cherry (he got it as a gift).
